My friend snapped this picture spontaneously (hence the awkward face) in her kitchen (hence the unattractive sink of dishes behind me) last night before going out. I am super excited about this new dress from Express, so I thought I'm sharing.

I'm in love with warm weather right now. I bought these shorts from H&M a while ago and got to bust them out the other day. It will all be a tease when I have to return to cold at the end of Spring Break.

Bought this awesome moonstone ring at an art festival on Sunday.

Spring Break started with a bang on Saturday at the Ostrich Festival (lol). I don't care that I was the only person over the age of ten feeding the goats... nothing beats feverish little goat mouths on your palm slurping up seeds.

It's astounding to me that some bloggers are able to take the most perfect and attractive pictures of themselves when I look like a forest creature that has gained 20 pounds in 99.9% of the ones I take. What gives?!

The meteorologists were twitching with anticipation of a HUUUGE snow storm here in Flagstaff this weekend, so that in part made me decide to spend the weekend at home in Phoenix (and a shopping itch from fashion week and, ok I do like seeing my folks). Apparently the snow wasn't as monumental as predicted, but it was wonderful getting lots of school work done, relaxing at home, and of course taking trips to H&M for some fast fashion and Forever 21 for some accessories.

All the jewelry except the watch and tiger's eye ring is new, including the gold claw ring which arrived from ASOS while I was gone and I couldn't want to pop it on. Nail polish is new as well... China Glaze Sea Spray.


PS: Got 104% on merchandising exam. Hurrah!

We went from random patches of dirty snow in shady areas to over a foot in a day. Two pairs of leggings and a pair of jeans make having full movement of one's legs impossible. But the world is sure pretty blanketed in white :)

Nonetheless, spring fashion is infiltrating magazines and marketing, and has me dreaming of ensembles such as this one:

Clad in cozy, comfy American Apparel doing homework and taking a break to catch up on the drama of the upper east side (aka Gossip Girl), while avoiding the wind advisory weather outside.

Went on a hike today. It may not mean much to someone who sees rolling hills or lush greenery, but I think Arizona's beautiful. Happy Valentine's Day!

I ended the afternoon with a walk downtown to not only finish picture taking for my project, but stop for a brief period of writing and coffee sipping.

alphabet milkshake

Went on a walk today to take pictures for a school project. The idea is to find things that resemble the letters of the alphabet. Harder than it sounds when you think about annoying-looking letters like G and K and Q. All letters should look like X, L, O and T. At least I don't speak Mandarin and have to find those letters. Also found a park around the corner with a swing that made me feel youthful and unbothered.

After, drove over to Sonic for a much anticipated Red Velvet Cheesecake Blast. I controlled myself and didn't finish the whole thing, but OHYUM.

Will eventually learn how to take less awkward pictures in my room (disregard Jon Hamm lurking behind me). It's tiny so everything is kind of cluttered together.
